Northallerton School & Sixth Form College

Northallerton School & Sixth Form College

Northallerton School & Sixth Form College comprises three secondary schools located in the north of North Yorkshire; the Allertonshire School (11-14) and Northallerton College (14-18) in Northallerton, and Risedale Sports and Community College (11-16) in Hipswell in the heart of Catterick Garrison.

The Federation and the many less close but nonetheless valuable links with other schools and agencies, locally, nationally and internationally, are a vital part of our work and the key to achieving our aim of constantly improving the educational experiences available to our students. This is summed up in our motto: Learning and Achieving Together.

Our aim is that we learn and achieve together. To do this we will:

•    Ensure every student succeeds

•    Shape our curriculum to meet students’ interests, needs and aspirations

•    Strive to be effective in all we do

•    Work in partnership in the interests of students

•    Manage our resources to support our students

The Federation

Northallerton School & Sixth Form brings together three secondary schools under a single Governing Body and Executive Principal. Each school retains its distinctive character, but work closely together to maximize the benefits of cooperation for our 2000 students.
