Support and Mentorship

As well as the Director of the White Rose Alliance, you’ll also have a dedicated in-school mentor who will meet with you weekly to discuss your progress.

These regular meetings provide a valuable opportunity for you to have a discussion about your experience on the course. Your mentor will offer constructive feedback, guidance, and support while also giving you the space to raise any questions or concerns.

All of our mentors are carefully selected by their schools for their expertise in teaching and their ability to nurture and develop new educators. Their goal is to help you succeed.

Additionally, you’ll receive weekly professional studies sessions at King James's School Knaresborough alongside your White Rose Alliance colleagues, where you will learn from current Teachers about practical ways to input your learning in the classroom with a vast array of topics being covered.

As we are a true partnership with both Leeds Trinity and York St John, you benefit from the hands-on training with us, alongside intense academic support with University; you will also have a Subject Lead and Link Tutor at University.
