Adel Beck Secure Children's Home
Adel Beck is a purpose built, state of the art, local authority, Secure Children’s Home in Leeds, providing a range of specialist services for 24 young people, aged 10–18 nationally (England). The home comprises three 8-bedded house units catering for a broad and challenging range of placement mix in terms of age and gender.
Of the 24 available places, 14 are contracted to the Youth Custody Service (YCS), allowing 10 placements for local authority purchase under s25 Children Act 1989 or further spot purchase YCS requirements. If available, beds can also be accessed under the Police and Criminal Evidence Act (PACE) 1984 for the 5 local authorities in West Yorkshire only.

Our vision is to inspire change and development in ‘Attitude, Behaviour, Learning and Emotions’ to enable young people to deliver positive contributions to their families, society and their local communities whilst reducing risk taking behaviours, exploitation and offending and making a successful progression into a productive adult.
