Stokesley School
Stokesley School
Stokesley School is a vibrant and successful school in rural North Yorkshire, which also draws on areas of Middlesbrough in Teesside. This gives the school a genuinely comprehensive makeup and as a result we have a welcoming, inclusive attitude.
Our pupils may come from a range of backgrounds but once here at Stokesley, they are given a distinct school identity as part of a House group. This, and our vertical tutorial system, where each tutor group has members from years 7 - 13, establishes a real sense of community.
Academically our pupils thrive at every level from years 7 to 13, with our most recent Ofsted inspection highlighting pupils’ enjoyment of learning and achievement as outstanding. Our rigorous emphasis on securing pupils’ progress, both academically and personally, is exemplified in our school motto of ‘being the best we can be’.
